I was looking into buying a JBL GTO75.4II which puts out about 104 watts rms at 4 ohms to each channel. I have db650s in the front and db690s in the rear. will this be too much or should it be just about right? i want it to be really loud and really clear. any help would be much appreciated.

You'll be fine as long as the gain levels are set properly.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
Ok good just checking. Didn't want to overpower the speakers because on Polk's site it says that the speakers continuous wattage was 60 in the front and 100 in the back. As long as I'm good because I found a killer deal.

Ya gotta think that an amp rated at 104 per channel isnt making 104 watts all the time.
Say your car is capable of doing 120 mph. Does it do 120 all the time or do you normally drive it about 55? Same thing here. If you have the gains properly adjusted and use common sense with the volume control youll be fine.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
