Does anyone have any thoughts on adding a parasound 5125 power amp to a Denon Avr-2807 receiver. I have the Rti12's for my fronts, Csi5 for center and 2 pairs of Fxi3's for surround and surround back. I am just wondering if that would make a significant difference in the overall performance of my system

Your 12’s would appreciate the external amplification, I’m sure you will notice an improvement in two channel listening, if your looking for better performance HT wise, you should consider external amplification for the center channel also, let the Denon handle the surrounds.

If you have found a good deal on the amp, I’d say go for it, give it a listen and judge with your own ears.

Parasounds have a good rep. , you should have no problem re-selling it should it not give you the results your looking for.

    Rock on.

My second go at separate amplification came from a Parasound 1500A 205wpc 2 channel amp. I loved it so my I now have all 5 of my channels amped!
