My grandfather was a WW1 vet. My dad was a WWII vet.
There are a dwindling number of WWII vets out there.
I saw all my uncles when I went up North to my Dad's funeral a few months ago.
That's quite a collection of WWII vets right there. They all looked
old and fragile. It amazing that there are any of the WW1 vets still out there.
Sometimes, It very scary to even look at the age of most Nam vets.
Time marches on. Yet, I will remember them and their sacrifices.
"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson
