Came out this morning.

People are reporting that the menu navigation is a lot faster.

    got it first thing this morn. but i am really waiting for the hd dvd update!!!!

    I like how they have added a marketplace tab instead of how it was.

    hd dvd update to be ready before 6 AM est 5/15/07! TONIGHT! boo hoo, i have a dead 360 after my months of waiting for the hd dvd update.:mad: :rolleyes:

    ...and the hd dvd update will only come to those 360 users whom actually possess the hd dvd drive. it's not automatic. according to m$ insiders, one must place an hd dvd into the drive first, then the 360 will prompt you to download the patch. good luck to those out there that can take advantage.

    should be there by the AM. i seem to be the only one here who complains about 'attenuated' audio and lip sync issues. i wanted to be the first to give a review of how well the update fixes my issues. now i'll have to wait another 2-3 weeks for m$ to repair my 360. anyone else have issues with the hd dvd drive?

    I've noticed it too. Was waiting for the fix before adjusting it through my receiver.

    This is correct, I just installed the update. No more clipping while listening to TRU HD tracks. :D

    great news! along with the supposed many other fixes. wish i could test and post my findings here. 'we were soldiers' is my worst lip sync hd dvd. wish i could test it out now and see if it's fixed.

    MANY over at avs are claiming great success! much more improved audio and lip sync close to perfection! sucks for me, i have to live vicariously through others' experiences.

    nice catch dave. didn't even realize that. but yes, ever since the movie, i've had a major identity crisis! everyone realized it except for me. very nice.
