Not at all, just saying I think a couple shots would have covered it, but it's a detailed shoot at least.

    Cheers,

You know what I find interesting? That many of those close-up camera shots came out pretty darn good. I always have a hard time getting good close-ups like that, and I have a Nikon.
Do you hear that buzzing noise?

Interesting way of connecting the amp to the 'sub' terminals. Never seen that before.

yea it is... i think its the same driver as in the acoustimass series in transmission line form... which doesnt sound too bad.. it just cant hit the real low stuff...
but this bass module puts out frequencies probably hitting 500... it rings my walls... but the walls are moving at 500 revolutions[Edit:cycles](i think that makes sense)

It doesn't look to be of very high quality... typical mass produced stuff, the crime is in what bose charges for it.

    A few things:

Plastic can work very well for enclosures depending on how it is done. PSB, for instance, uses moulded plastic for baffles and it works quite well. JBL uses a rigid and very inert plastic "foam" for some of their control monitors. Some of the ultra high end manufacturers use various plastics for enclosure parts with great success, however the plastic used in this bose item looks to be run of the mill "toy" plastic, and yes it would definately resonate.

One of the odd things about this is that bose is using wirewrapping method of termination to the drivers. This method is a better (it measures better on a scope) electrical connection than even soldering, so it seems odd that bose would use this type of connection with otherwise cheap parts and manufacturing.
