I have both the new Sony SXRD 1080P projector and the new Epson 1080P projector on it's way. I've been having a hard time decideing which one to purchase so I ordered them both to do a side-by-side comparision. The Epson should be in sometime by the middle of the week and the Sony should arrive the first part of next week. Keep your eyes open for my upcoming review of both of these projectors.

cool, grim. I am always curious whether 1080p really distinguishable, in normal daily viewing, compared to 1080i. I have a Sony LCD Bravia 1080p that looks great on HD source, 1080i.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Now thats just funny Grim, guess I should have took heed to what you were saying about doing it big, never guessed you would pull the trigger on both. I personally say the Sony beats the Epson in dark level, sharpness and contrast in round 3. Cant wait to read the views and include pics if you can. Go easy
Edit: Wait a tick, for the amount you spent for both, why not the JVC HD1?Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Should be receiving the Epson today and looking so forward to it, been over a week with no picture downstairs. With the wife and I looking into purchasing a new house, decided to cancel the order on the Sony for the time being. If we decide to move don't want to be in the process of trying to move as well as compairing projectors. Once we make a final decision I will then order the Sony again to compair the two projectors. Until then, plan on writing a review of what I think of the Epson so keep your eyes open. Until then....Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!
