Looking to see if I should replace my Yam xvr995, with this and if it is high current.

i think I found a good deal on it never used $400.00

    Nice unit, Is 5.1 and only 2 component inputs enough for you. 140 watts per is good.

    I have the Denon AVR-4802 7.1 125 per ch and I ended up using external amps but have plenty of audio inputs and 3 component in's.

    Can't go wrong for $400.00. Original price on that was over $2000.00

    the Denon would be a step up for sure.. it seems like an excellent price... enough power too.. or you can add an external amp too if you like.

    I don't know what you are driving for speakers, but for that kind of money I think it would work great. You could always add an amp for the fronts if need be. I am assuming it has pre outs.

    Just got a Email back he wants to start a bidding war over it asked the six replies to give best offer.

    I don't particularly care for that I was first to bid, and offered his price.

    Not good practice.

    I offered him just what I told him and screw him if I win I think that I'll want to negotiate a lower price since I won. I am sure somone will bite and bid high though.

    You are right the unit I have works well. I can wait until the deal I want comes along.

    I am missing those SDA srs 1.2tl that hurt on that deal.
