M20 vs. R50
Hello Polkies.
I bought a pair of M20's at Circuit City for $120 each and I am very happy with them. (Matching a CSM Center).
Now the R50's are on sale at Fry's again for $60 each. Are these better (2 woofers vs. 1 on the M20) ?
If so, should I graduate them to fronts and bring the M20's to surround (to replace HTIB rears)
Thanks for any information y'all can provide.

Welcome Topaz.
Tommy, he is going to put the m20's in the rear so no need to return them.
Once you get them Topaz, let us know how you like them.
BTW, what is the rest of your system?Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -
Thanks for the replies guys!
I have the BIC H-100 12" Subwoofer which I just love
The weak spot in my system without a doubt is my receiver which is the
awful Kenwood HTIB VR505 (I believe) which is like 0.8 THD.... you read that right, POINT EIGHT!
I look forward to a nice Onkyo 7.1 as soon as the wallet allows.
