So...
Just got back! It was top notch... I really enjoyed it. Packed full of plot, lot's of drama, good action, but not tons... Right in line with the other two... if you enjoyed those, you'll love this one.
8 outta 10 for me. Worth the 500Million to make it? Yeah, for one trip to the theater and a must own to complete the collection. All in all, a good solid film. Not great. Just good. Also, the sound was terrible at my theater, I actually got up in the middle and told them to turn it up, cause it was so low.. that might have played into it as well.. not being immersed quite as much as I'd have liked...
Won't spoil anything, but kinda left a little sad it was all over...

It's the last one on his contract, and he said he is ready to move on... so I highly doubt he'll be in any more... Won't be the same without him though, he hit this one right on the nail! His best acting of the three, by far!!!Honoured to be, an original SOPA founding member

The more I think about it, the more I realize what I was hoping for: It was portrayed as the "Darkest" of the three thus far.. When I saw it, it was anything but dark. More comedy thrown in, if anything. I just was expecting big bad guys, and got middle of the road, we're only bad because we have to be guys.
I think that might have contributed to it being Good, Not Great. I wouldn't say it was a huge let down with me, just not in the Great category. Would I recommend for a viewing at the theater? Heck ya, worth a one time see there on the big screen.Honoured to be, an original SOPA founding member

I saw it this afternoon. It was good, but not great. A bunch of stuff bugged me about it, but i'll hold off as it will be spoiler material.
I hit the glorious Senator Theater here in Baltimore which means the PQ & SQ were top notch! They had it jacked up and at one point, this huge theater was freakin shaking! REALLY sick SQ!

first for the guy with the crappy sound it sounded amazing at my theatre they obviously tweeked their subs cuz i never heard such bass there before and the movie was very good if it makes any sense it felt big but somehow constrained they bounced around too much .. i felt really weird watching the little John Travolta walk scene x.x but its a excellent movie but it wont come close to what Pirates Of The Caribbean will be
-
Hmmm...
Movie tried to do too much with multiple plots, attempting to weave it all together at the end in case this is the last Spider-man but leaving things partially open in case of contract extension for a few more.
I felt this movie should have been split into two with perhaps a little more depth and exploration of the different story lines. The plot attempted to rush Peter Parker's maturity that I just didn't quite buy. If they had set things up better from the 2nd movie the transition may have been smoother.
Also, this movie was afflected with the same problem as Jurassic Park. In JP1, you don't move because the T-Rex can't see you. That was abandoned by JP2. For Spider-Man 1, there was a large focus on his spider senses that was completely abandoned by movie 3.
All in all, not a horrible movie but above average at best that left a multitude of impression on the view: fast & slow, dorky yet fun, action fest & drama snoozer.
Go see it if you liked the series. If you thought the other 2 movies were okay, I'd recommend you wait for the DVD release. -
Sure had a lot of switch betweens.engtaz
I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
What a load this movie was. It is not even in the same league as the first 2. How many singing and dance routines were there? Too freakin' many. More of those than good action sequences. And all the crying at the end, come on!

Yeah, I too was wondering why they decided to make Peter Parker into a snivelling little ****. Seemed like everytime you turned around he was crying. Granted, Spiderman is a dark comic, but I dont recall a lot of issues with Parker crying like a little schoolgirl.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I didnt like this Spider Man either! I especially thought it was lame when they showed him in front of the American flag. That ruined it for me.
-
a little image my roommate and i cooked up represents what we both thought of the movie...
(we mostly didn't like it, if that wasn't clear )It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

I heard that Spidey sometimes cuts himself, because its better to feel pain than nothing at all. -
Let me start off by saying the first two Spidy movies failed to impress me, there not very good and I consider them to be some of the worst in the realm of comic-book movies, right up there with the X-Men junk.
I was dying to buy something while shopping Target this morning so I picked this up on Blu . I really have no idea why but after watching the first 2/3's, this is a damn good movie. So much better then the first two it's not even comparable. Great action, good story, some decent emotion, some good laughs, it's all there.
As for the A/V, this is most impressive, not Transformers impressive but it's damn good.
I can't wait to finish this up in a couple of days.If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent. -
I thought the first two sucked...
And low behold the third one sucked too...
Never fails....
Emo Spidey - thankfully done with, I hope...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
As Ron said, on BD is awesome, there is some pretty low bass in it as well. My plus2s went deep a few times. Worth the buy.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
