I am not posting a bunch of fluff on this one. It is a good HT receiver. Please check out the link. Its says compatible with 4 ohms, but most AVR's just limit currant at 4 ohms.

I'm interested but I want to talk to you about it.
I don't know **** about AVRs. I have an NAD T 773 for my media room. My living room has a Surroundbar and an old Monitor 6 Series 2 subwoofer with two sets of speaker posts . . . NO SUBWOOFER PORTS!!!!. The living room is just a "have decent HT room" not higher end like the media room. Will the Yami fit the bill??? -
I've owned that reciever and I payed alot more2 CHANNEL
Speaker - Klipsch Heresy II
Under construction -
I reiterate, I don't know **** about HT/AVRs.
I know it is a good deal, I just want to make sure the equipment I have will be functional with this AVR. . .my main questions are, the Surroundbar is 5 channel the AVR is 6, does that matter.
My subwoofers don't have the RCA jack like other subs. . .it has two sets of spring loaded wire posts. Left and Right, each with a positive and negative, just like speakers, will this AVR work with this sub?.
I also have a Panny 50" plasma on the way how bout that in the mix?
Also I have Comcast's DVR which has HD does that mix?
I have an old Sony DVD player, it's not HD or anything fancy how about this in the mix? -
The 5.1 to 6.1 difference is not a big deal. Just hook up the 2 fronts, center, and 2 rears to the bar. Leave the surround back center empty. Make sure you are listening to stuff in a 5.1 processing mode (DD 5.1, DTS 5.1, etc.) and you'll be good to go.
I would say your sub can be hooked up easily. Just go fronts from AVR to sub in, then sub out to fronts of the surroundbar. Long as the sub has ins and outs for speakers, you're good. More wires, but works great.
Plasma will work well. Comcst DVR should be fine. Sony DVD player should work.
If you want a cheap, basic AVR with good surround modes and solid HT dynamics, this would be a great deal.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850 -
PM sent.
Thanks Andy!!
