Guys,

For months I've been dead set on getting the LCi series in walls for my media room, but I just can't afford buying an external amp to drive them.

So, I'm thinking of going with the TC265i's w/enclosures for my fronts, TC65i for the rears, and the CSi5 for my center. My question is, is this the right center to match up with my TC's? I can't do an in wall center BTW.

I'm thinking on a high power reciever like the Denon 987 or new Onkyo 805, these would be the best bet.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The CSi5 is the center match for those speakers. I have the 265's paired with TC615's, and they are great for HT. We don't listen to music in that room, so I am not a good source for an opinion on that.

I think you will really like the setup you mentioned. You will want to add a sub to the setup - common suggestions are HSU and SVS. I have both and you really can't go wrong with them. Your room size will dictate the size of the sub.

I think some will suggest NAD, H/K, Marantz, and Pioneer as viable alternatives to the two AVRs you mentioned. Denon is well liked here, but Onkyo doesn't seem to be.
