To All:

I have enjoyed my time on this forum, but unfortunately must say goodbye. I'm not trying to draw a crowd of responses with this post, Rather I didn't want to go without saying thank you to the members here. I have enjoyed learning and enjoyed helping others on their way

I've put in my two week notice to CC, and I will soon be heading off to college. UC Davis if anyone is curious, I'm majoring in physics, probably to become an engineer. I suppose I could stay in touch, but it would be torture to keep posting since my entire system will be in boxes and I won't be able to do any serious listening. Sorry Aaron, I'm not as dedicated as you were to set up the 800s in a dorm room, the 70s will stay safe at home;) However all is not lost, I am taking a pair of 38s with me to hook up to a an Onkyo stereo receiver. By most people's standrds that is a more than adequate dorm system. (by the way, I once tried Ghetto Bi-Amping with that receiver- not worth doing). Anyway- Thanks to all.

Sincerely,
Peter

    Peter,

Keep the music down in Davis, people have been ticketed for disturbing the peace. Good luck in your studies.

UC Davis, nice school. Have a decent rock climbing wall on campus, check it out.
