Polk M series

Around here there isn't a decent place to listen to Polk speakers. The setup at future shop is beyond incompitant. I was so frustrated that I bought a pair of RTi6s to see if I would recommend them. I think they're pretty good for the money. Now I'm considering a set of "M" series as part of a group wedding gift.
Has anyone reading this heard them?

Do you have Visions electronics in Edmonton? I listened at one here in Vancouver and they sound OK.

I've tried to demo speakers at Visions and Future shop. Way to much ambient noise, salespeople don't have a clue or don't care and usually to much electronic switching between speaker and source. Last time I was in, salesguy didn't understand my problem with his homemade MP3 demo disk. I e-mailed the Polk rep and he couldn't help me, said he's had the same problem for years. Anyway I'd be interested in opinions of how these compare with Energy, Paradigm, Omage or others for about the same price. PS. I said I bought the RTi8s when I actually bought the RTi6s
