The bass in War of the Worlds flexed my doors.
Absolutely insane. I need to rent that and watch it with the VMPS.
wowzers!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Saving Private Ryan and Jerrassic Park here. Specifically the scene where the tank starts rolling in [SPR] and the helicopter scene [JP].~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Here's a few that haven't been mentioned...
Top Gun
Master & Commander
The Day After Tomorrow
Armageddon
Band of Brothers (especially Operation Market Garden)
U-571 -
The IncrediblesPolkFest 2012, who's going>?
Vancouver, Canada Sept 30th, 2012 - Madonna concert  -
King Kong (new one)
Underworld Evolution
Ice Age -
Any of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and my new reference is the first 20 minutes of The Matador, a couple of scenes make you jump out of your seat the sound is so good. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

A second for U-571
Apocolypse Now- Redux, especially starting at "Ride of the Valkyries" through the napalmWristwatch--->Crisco -
Flight of the Phoenix
-
all of those are good. Polar Express, the first train scene when it is pulling up to the house is another good one.
-
AI with Will Smith.
-
War of the Worlds is just nuts.

AI with Will Smith.
Any opening scene from Bond movies is good for demos. Usually only 5-10 minutes long, full of action and explosions.
What else. . . there are a couple good scenes in Any Given Sunday, visually and sonically with the background music.
Oh, and the intro to Superman Returns was awesome. The theme song is great when you pump it up.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand

Heat has always been a favorite; especially when the **** hits the fan towards the end of the movie.
LOTR, any of them.
Great call on Matador Billbill, that one did surprise me. And what a surprisingly good movie as well!2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -

Short memory helps in this hobby. That way, we can load Hunt for Red October and cry out "Wow" everytime. Drives the wife nuts!
