Hey, Polk make the "Remote RC-1" to adjust levels in the 500.1/300.2
is there a way to control 2 amps using this style controller? or is a rca style one the go?
my deck is an eclipse cd8455 and doesn't have a sub control feature...
cheers

Very nice HU, i had one before my current one. You must be using it in the 3way mode.
I would contact Polk to see if you can get something like a splitter to see if that works. I know with my old Kicker amps you were able to do this if you wanted to (connect one remote gain module to the adapter and control several amps).Alpine: CDA-7949

I just looked over the manual for the amp.... it uses a standard phone plug, same as the Kicker's did. Might be doable, but I would check before proceeding.Alpine: CDA-7949

yeah i was hoping i might be able to splice one controller to run the two. but was checking to see what people on here may have done first. i'll shoot off an emial to polk.
The 8455 is indeed running in 3-way mode to a c400.4 which powers my polk sr6500's in biamp mode. -
That is a very nice setup you have there.Alpine: CDA-7949

you could try using one of those phone line plugs that makes one outlet 2. Just plug it into the amp, plug the control into it, then go get a 4 conductor phone cord and plug it into the adapter, and the other end into your amp. don't jnow it will work, but you'd be out less then $15 if it doesn't.

1996blackmax: thanks i like it alot
dudeinaroom: yeah i thought of that, only i don't have a knob to "test" with so cant give it ago that easy
my other option was to use a Dual-Gang Potentiometer, and create my own "bass knob", but again i dont have a polk one to get the values off. anyone got one they want to test for me :P -
anyone want to whack their polk knob on a ohm meter and give me some readings?
I've sent 2 emails to polk directly, but no response the dealer that i bought the amps off is some traveling time away (i'm in Australia btw)
