Just finished watching this a few minutes ago. I thought it was pretty good. Had me scratching my head a few times trying to keep everything in the proper "time frame".

I saw it this morning. I like it too. Interesting stretch of sci-fi and space continuum physics. Good acting. What happened to Val? He looks like Alec Baldwin now, far from the heyday of Viper in TopGun days. 7/10 on my rating scale.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I really enjoyed watching it, too. Saw it New Year's Eve, I believe.

Saw it a few days ago. It was OK. The woman in the movie who played Claire was gorgeous, and that's what kept my attention.

If you coudl shut off your brain to the ridiculousness of it, it was a neat movie. Definitely entertaining. And a good mind-f#****. Could have been better if Tony Scott wasn't involved. That guy needs to take some Ridilin or something; a camera does not need to constantly move and sweep around and blur and come into focus and switch angles 70 times per 30 seconds.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I know, I know. It's just that he hasn't been seen on too many movies since then, so I am not used to see him older.

I didn't either. How'd that happen? Maybe we think too much.

Y'all didn't get the ending? What?

Wow, I actually understood something about a movie that someone else didn't.

That's NEVER happened before...except for with Mom and sci-fi movies :p

So, yeah, my wife and I watched it last night. It was the first movie we watched on our new BluRay player. I thought the video transfer was excellent. Although every now and then, on dark scenes, and what seemed mostly close ups on Denzel, the image was super grainy. It did not distract too much from the overall impressive presentation. The audio was also excellent. Good use of surrounds.

The story was good enough. The acting, as to be expected, was good. Only a few bits of acting and writing that I could have done without, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. Certainly worth a rental. And if you knew my wife, the fact that she stayed awake for the whole movie, after working a 55 hour work week, that says a lot about the entertainment value.

Over a year late to the party (as usual). It takes me awhile to get around to watching some movies. This one kept my attention for the whole time. Denzel was...Denzel...and that is a very good thing. This isn't the Val that played Doc Holiday, Batman, etc...he put on a pound or two. I don't guess I've seen him in anything since Red Planet. Maybe he's trying to go Brando.

Anyway, a good flick and definitely a should see rental. I have developed a taste to the movies by Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

    At least one thumb up!

Thought the movie was really good...enjoyed the sound effects even better...there are some serious below 25Hz sound effects in this movie...and their timing in the movie is perfect as well. Thumbs up for sure.
