Gt4

I got into playing GT4 a little bit again here a week or so ago. In my stable I had a 1992 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR, 1998 Lotus Elise 190 Sport, and a 1992 Mazda RX-7 Type-RZ (FD, J).
I'll race them all a bit, but my main 'masterpiece' is definitely my RX-7. I just love that thing!
Well, today, I branched out a little bit and did some different races, got some big money, and I finished my RX-7! Wooohooo!
Now, at this point, I should probably qualify 'big money'. I won the tournament and sold the prize car and came out with $40k. That's big money, errr, credits to me.
So, anyhoo. My RX-7. It has the best of EVERYTHING, except it has a 1.5-way limited slip instead of the full customizable one. Oh, and it's also not been ported and polished and doesn't have the last stage of weight reduction. So I guess I'm not really there yet, but man, it's a beast!
She's pumping out 578hp/6500rpm, 452lb-ft/5000rpm, and weighs 1119kg. Top speed of 178.72mph and she'll do the quarter in 10.499@139.
I'm in love!
I think I'm going to make my Lancer into a rally car and pick up either a Skyline or a 3000GT for an AWD road racer. What do y'all think about that? Which should I choose?
And considering my Elise is so old, I'm considering selling it at some point and replacing it with another MR vehicle; possibly a NSX.
Any thoughts?
Any 'victories' of your own you wanna share? Let's hear 'em!

I think I got about 3 races out of the game before my ps 2 crapped out on me. All I need to fix it is a little white wire that has four leads on it. I've been trying to find a dead ps2 so scavenge pieces from, but no luck, would love to get it back up and running again

You should get it back up and running! I guess it's not quite up to date, but it's still a great platform...for those of us who are financially challenged.
I figure I'll pick up a PS3...in three or four years...lol...

I'll get a ps3 when the ps10000 comes out

I played quite a bit of GT4 when it came out.
I recently went with the XBOX 360, knowing 2 games would make me buy a PS3, Armored Core 4 and GT5. Armored Core came out on XBOX 360 (I was ECSTATIC!!!), hence buying me breathing room until I get a PS3. GT5 will make me get the PS3, there is no way around it.
it better finally have online play!!!!Living Room 2 Channel -

I've played all of the GT's since the PS1...it was the main reason I bought a PS2
Now that I have the 360, I am looking forward to Forza 2...I think it comes out May 30...
I'll post a review when i get it..Pioneer Elite VSX-53, Polk RT800i fronts, Polk CS400i center, FX500i surround, Velodyne sub -
please do. I have looked at Forza but assumed that while maybe graphics and whatnot may be better, that the level of driving realism that exists with the GT series is just not there.
If I'm wrong, I'd like to knowLiving Room 2 Channel -
