High / Low Frequencies

I have looked on the back of my LSi9's in an attempt to determine with set of binding posts are the ones for high frequency and which ones are for the low. Damn I cannot see that - please help. Logically the lows would be on the bottom - low being below high. Can it be that simple. Is it consistent on ALL speakers that the top set of binding posts would belong to either the high or low or does it depend on the speaker and the manufacturer. Right now I need to figure out the LSi9's. MIT S1 cables need to be burned in. Thanks folks.

I have another very simple question as well. When I look at the manual for the LSi9's I see that the left and right speakers are positioned with you facing them. Makes sense as the tweeter is facing inward. Therefore the right speakers are in opposite corners based on using 4 of them. With LSiFX's (I have these in the rear) again there are left and right speakers so do you position them the same as 4 LSi9's or are they on the same side. Everything is positioned evenly on the LSiFX's.Michael

You can try it both ways and see what sounds better. Normally you would position your back speakers reversed from what they say. (for LSi9's the left speaker would be on the right side) Since the Fx's are designed to be rear speakers and I don't think they would normally work as fronts - my guess is that they are labeled correctly and the right speaker would be on the right side.
I do not have the FX's so that is only a guess.

Edit - I win....from page two of the manual - the left surround speaker is placed on the left side as you face the front of the room.
