I had to take advantage of the PB12-Plus/2 Overstock sale on the Piano Gloss Black. Almost 20% off right now, not bad... I placed my order Wed. night around 8:00pm, got tracking info for it Thurs. morning, and received it today (Fri) around 4:30pm. I couldn't be happier with the customer service and quickness of delivery from SVS. When I carried it in with the delivery guy it was pretty much what I expected, heavy, VERY BIG. I opened it up and pulled the nice cloth sack off of it; stepped back and took a look. It was almost breathtaking the sheer size and quality of the finish. I was expecting BIG, but the pictures and descriptions of it around the web just don't do this Sub justice. This thing is a Monster!

I can't wait to hear this sucker and my basement/dedicated home theater won't be carpeted for at least a month. If this isn't motivation to get some work done on the basement I don't know what is!

    Sexytime!

Thats the first time I have seen a good pic of the high gloss black. It looks great. I think thats the way I would go if I got one of their subs.

Looks beautifull. I have done some research on these subs as well as HSU and some others. I was just curious how come you do not see these subs in the mainstream. Im not even talking about best buy and those places. Ive been in some pretty high end audio stores and most of them do not even know who these companies are. Are they on there way up? Or are they just web based and underground? Or am I completley misguided?

WOW that is a nice finish on that sub
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

My guess is they are web based companies, they dont have a middleman in most cases. Just manufacturer
    >consumer. Therefore you get the better prices. Can you imagine buying a quality sub like this from Best Buy, 2000-2500 bucks easy. You would definitely see a higher markup.

Great looking sub. I have one of their SB12-Plus in the rosewood finish and am amazed at the quality of the finish. Be sure to post pictures when you get it set up in your HT.

Seeing yours has me thinking....I may have to upgrade to a larger one! Oh no, I feel like a case of upgradeitis may be developing!!!

Wow that is pretty in piano black!

Interesting to see which side of the rear the ports are on. One of my PB12+/2s has the ports on the left/amp on the right, and the other is the opposite! Totally unexpected that.

LOFL, actually you can see my flip-flops sitting there too w/my daughter's lady bug boots. Blew us both out of our shoes. It was funny, when I first opened the box up she said "ooooh, shiny... is that a new coffee table?" I explained to her what it was w/out getting too technical, and she said "Is it going to hurt my ears?"

The tag is there to remind you the correct port plug/tune setting. Mismatches can be very bad things.

AH, DANG! same price as the textured black (what i have). oh, so sweet! this is the first pic that made me wet for the piano gloss black. good thing i don't have it though. i'd be too anal about dusting and fingerprints. my textured needs virtually no attention, though it commands all of it!
