Please Help My friend with Cancer....

Hi Guys,

About 9 months or so ago my friend and fellow officer Randy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has since been undergoing chemotherapy and any treatement he can get his hands on. I don't know how familiar you are with htis type of cancer but it ain't good and the prognosis is dire.

Randy has taken on an amazing attitude and has channeled his misfortune into a desire to help others with his plight. He appealed to his fellow officers to help him and the American Cancer Society raise money for treatment in an upcoming 'Relay for Life' in Palmetto Bay Florida. If any of you guys could contribute toward this cause I and the Palmetto Bay Police Department would be most appreciative. Please just click on the link.

    Regretfully I have much family experience with pancreatic cancer. Donation made, I wish I could give thousands to help your friend. He has my familiy's and my prayers also, which are much more powerful than the money I donated.

    A friend just died the other day from cancer. He went well. Prayer does work. He should have been dead a while ago. I do know a lot of people have beaten cancer, so never give up. Bump the thread to remind us to pray for him, and his family.

    So sorry to hear that Ben. I lost my Grandmother to Cancer and my Uncles have had some bouts of colon cancer that was treated. It is scary stuff for sure.

    Darla, My aunt, uncle, and two cousin's, a whole family was taken out by pancreatic cancer. It is a bad cancer and needs lots of prayers.

    Goodness. The whole family..? That's beyond awful. Did the doctor's conribute it to anything other than genetics?

    Nope just bad genes. The rest of the family on my mother's side all have diabetes so they think it is just bad genes. My mom (who's passed one) and my siblings are the only ones in the family who don't have diabetes. . . doctors are baffled.

    EDIT: I forgot to mention I, by the Grace of God, don't have diabetes either.
