I have been asked to provide music at a wedding and reception.

I have over the last few months sold most any all my "extra" gear, and do not want to take anything I have now. (rain drinks 5 year old whatever)

So I am looking for something, nothing fancy or too powerful.

I will handle the speakers (they want something of the garden rock speaker type) the speaker wire runs will be kind of long, the wedding is a the rear of the house, the rection will be on the front lawn, so to make my life easy, something rather strongish in power, and A - B speaker switching would be great.

This is not a DJ gig, just provide something to make music for the CDs we have.

Thanks in advance.

Russ
Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
Outlaw ICBM - crossover
Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

Russ...what part of Georgia are you in? I've got a few amps and pre's I could LOAN if you need for a weekend or so. Sell if you want to keep.

I have a POS pre that you can purchase. Kenwood KC-207. It's actually a great little pre, but it's midfi from the early 90s. . . not the typical Polk Forum type thing.

It could be passed along on the cheap.
