Remote problems with new Plasma

Well the new Plasma (Panasonic TH-50PX75U) arrived the other day and everything is awesome. All except the remote for the Proceed AVP-S that I am using to drive my HT (controls sound level and sound mode). The minute I turn on the Plasma, the remote stops working. Batteries are ok and I can even be in 2CH music and the remote works with the Plasma turned off. Turn of the Plasma and the remote stops. Sounds like I am getting some kind of interference. I have e-mailed both Panasonic & the Harman Specialty Group to see what they have to say, but with any troubleshooting with different components I can bet there will be a lot of finger pointing. Just wondered what you folks thought. Thanks and yes I need a single point of contact for the remote. The Harmony 1000 is in the works.

I received a reply back from the Harman Group and they indicated that this is quite common with plasma TV's. Their suggestion was to move the AVP further away from the plasma. Right!

Just purchased a new Harmony 1000 for my HT. Just could not handle the multiple remote thing anymore.
