I was browsing through my cd's, looking for some old faves and ran accross this one by Eric Johnson. I saw him play in a small bar in Charleston in the early 90's and was simply amazed. Anyway, I'd recommend this cd as a 'must have'
Cliffs of Dover was the most recognizable track and got a lot of play in the early 90's.
For my money, track 9 Forty Mile Town is a great demo track. Splendid guitar, great vocals. This, IMO, is a great mid to upper mid range test of your speakers. Done well, you can almost feel Eric in a small venue, sitting on a stool with his guitar........
Anyway, it's worth a listen.....

Agreed, I have the, ahem, cough-cough cassette and cd. Very talented guitarist, melodic music, driving music, feel-good music if you will..... I will add 'Desert Rose' to the 'jump to' list.....
Great on a 2ch rig, a must for a road trip.....
Cheers,

Is this acoustic, (isn't everything sort of)
or electric guitar work?
Anyone you would compare the sound with?

Electric.....I'd compare him to Joe Satriani..
