OK, I'm going to use a profile ap1040, rated at 80x4 rms, to bi-amp my polk db6500 components (getting rid of my rear 6x9s). Should I just run the 6.5 woofer on full range, or should I use the filters on the amp? The tweeters will still be going through the crossover.

thanks

You can run the mid full range. However if the amp has a low pass filter thatll go high enough like 3-5 KHz you can fiddle with it and see if you like it.
