***** sale pending to Sophie *****

These are the speakers that got me interested in Polk Audio. My first set of Polk speakers, but it was my college buddies Monitor 10's that got me interested! So a couple of years ago when this pair came up for sale in central IA, I grabbed them. I have really enjoyed these, and have been listening to them all this weekend. But the time has come for these to find a new home!

These are in absolutely showroom minty shape. I kid you not when I say you could put these in an audio showroom and claim they were new. The guy I bought these from deserves nothing but credit for the way he took care of these! I upgraded these with the Polk RDO tweeters. They sound absolutely fantastic! The stands have a few nicks and scuffs, but are in pretty reasonable shape also.

I will not ship these, so please don't ask! These deserve to stay in the Club Polk family, and I won't risk damage by shipping these. These will be coming to the IL Polkfest in May, and would be available for pick up there. I will also go out of my way to meet someone who wants to pick these up.

$225 buys these. This may be above market, but consider that these have $100 of RDO tweeter upgrades, and are in mint condition.

WOW, how did these things not sell yet??? The Monitor 10B was my first ever set of Polk's back in 1987. I still wish I wouldn't have given them away to my older brother. I'm glad he enjoys them, but I wish I still had them. With the new tweeter, these are amazing at that price!

Wish you could ship them as they would be mine!

No BS here! I've seen these at the CPF, I couldn't believe my eyes, I thought they came straight out of the box as new.

    Hell of a deal!

Sophie was first in on the pm's! I have Mike in as back-up! I have returned PM's to both of you. Sophie - I wish I had been so lucky as to have this quality of speaker when I was younger! You're going to love them! Doug.

I'm changing my screen name to Lizzie.

sophie: I think it would be very nice, if you decide not to use these speakers at some point, that you offer "Lizzie" first right of refusal on them.

However, they look like they're in great shape and I think you'll love 'em. Enjoy!
