The Power Of Prayer

I just talked to my friend Aaron, and his father in law has cancer spreading through his body. Mostly in his lungs. He was put in the hospital with pneumonia a couple days ago. Tonight the doctors said to call the family in because John was going to be dead in an hour. He was ripping the Iv's out of his arms. They had to give him a large dose of morphine to calm him down. The meds put him in a coma like state. The family came, and started praying for him. His eyes looked like he had cataracts. After praying for a while he sits up, and says I have to go to the bathroom. He gets up does his thing, asks for some water, and eats a piece of toast. If you believe you know what to do. I thank you ahead of time. He has many kids, and grand kids. He is about 50 years old.

Thanks Ben

    Thanks again.
Progress report is that he is still alive, and breathing on his own. The are treating him to get rid of the junk in his lungs. The family is still there with him. Prayer is powerful.
    Thanks again

    our prayers too.

And let me also say (as the husband of a pastor)--God may not alway give us the answer we want, but that doesn't mean that our prayers haven't been heard, nor that they are wasted. Keep the faith.

    Cheers, Jim

    Done.

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
