Monitor 5A's?? original boxes

I have a set of Monitor 5's in excellent condition with original boxes. I would prefer to sell local, as I don't know if the boxes can withstand shipping. Asking $100.00. Thanks, Jeff

    Kind of surprised nobody has replied to these yet. They do have the much sought after "peerless" tweets don't they? They look to be in excellent shape, especially for 100 smacks.

    I picked up some 5's a month ago. I use them as my center channel. Great match for SDA's.

    I guess I should start an auction! JK. I have a local Polk Audio buyer who is suposed to back to me. I will give him a couple days then open to shipping. George is next in line and I am pretty confident he wants them. I don't mean to keep pushing this off, but I hate shipping speakers. I can't find good boxes and will probably have to ship with original boxes and hope like hell Fedex doesn't destroy them. Thanks, Jeff

    RT1, Sorry bud, those 5A sold to George Daniel back around Thanksgiving. I think he mentioned somewhere that is loving them on a tube rig. The ones for sale in this thread look just like the ones I had. Great speaker for the price.
