I am selling off my last BMX bike, since I have rode it maybe a handful of times in the last six years....It is a STA R model, which uses OX Platinum air hardened tubing instead of the standard 4130...It is A LOT lighter and even more strong than 4130.....20.5" top tube, Redneck (yeah I know it's black) stem, Castillo Bars, 180mm Profile cranks, six shooter sealed hubs, and other goodies...It has a Standard Fork With 990 mounts as well....Pedals are included as well, I just need to dig them out...Snafu platforms...I would part with my Shimano sealed DX's or My Ringle sealed Zu-Zu's for a couple of extra bucks.....I am going to say local pickup only, unless someone really wants to pay to ship a complete bike....$300

My stepson was into riding, I suppose he'd appreciate the bike even more than us.

What kind of system you got in that b*tch!? :D
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!

Haha....For the retail of that SOB, I could get a hold of a mean set of speaks, or maybe a used Sunfire 300x2.....This thing was almost $1300 new....the frame alone was $425 retail.....The fork about $125...I just can't really ride anymore, my knee gives me too much crap after a day full of impact like that....I wouldn't last 20 minutes now...Sucks big time.

So, what would be pros/cons if I'm used to a 26" MTN Bike?

They are completely different animals really.....Depends on the mountain bike you currently have. This will take a lot more abuse....It is single speed, so hills might be a **** until you get used to that......There are a lot less things that can go wrong with a BMX bike, since there very little moving parts (no gear changes means less crap to tune in....) They are built a little more beefy I guess...I don't think you would have a problem riding it around campus, but this is one you would want to lock up....People will take this. I have a 3ft krypto New York Chain too if you need a good lock...

I used to ride with a guy who was 6'6 and probably about 270-280.....It was funny to see him ride that thing, but he was pretty good....I have a mongoose Cruiser frame and fork at my parents house (24" wheel instead of 20") if you really want a BMX bike....

we really don't have a campus (one building) but, I ride all the time at home on cheap (department store) bikes and have gone through at least 4 that I can remember. Heck, my current one has bent rims (not too bad atm) and bad d

I think you'd be good....It was a little long for me top tube wise, and I am 5'6 about 160, so you should be fine size wise...It would fit just fine in the trunk with the wheel off as it sits.....Most likely in the trunk with the back seats down with the wheel on.......I know it fits in my Jetta just fine like that....This bike is basically made for what you are doin on the cheapies.......The wheels are straight too by the way...:D ;)
