WTB Carver M-1.5t or M-500t

Looking for either (or both) in excellent condition. My amazing Plats need power, they are hungry suckers.

    In here, you'll just have to check the classifieds once in awhile or do a search for it. You'll sometime see them come up. Otherwise, try the usuals....Ebay and Craigslist. There are always some popping up. The ones on Ebay are getting quite pricey anymore.

    You can also try the Carver forum. It's a little slower than in here for getting a response but they pop up there too.

    I've tried the m1.5t with the Amazing Plats, its not enough for them. You owe it to them to get more power than that.

    There's a TFM-75 on Ebay...THAT will drive the hell outta them! lol

    maybe an M4.0t would do them justice.

    That TFM 75 would do 'em justice....or a sunfire 300x2 or 600x2..... There is no such thing as too much power for those.....:D :D

    If the M1.5t will not produce, like Shizelbs says, then a M4.0t will not be able to handle the task either [25 watts RMS more, but significantly less headroom]. Two m1.5t's wired correctly to the lower binding posts only (one per speaker) and another amp dedicated to just the top end of the plat's should work.

    Even if you bridge two M4.0t's mono, you still won't have the headroom that two M1.5t's would be able to deliver. Plus the damping factor will be improved for bass control.
