Surround Upgrade? Worth it?
I wanted to run this by you guys to get an opinion on a potential upgrade. I currently have the FXi3 surrounds and was wondering that since Im soon to be in a dedicated theater should I upgrade to the FXi5s. The room will be about 20x30 with 8 feet ceilings. Is it worth it to upgrade or should I just not worry about it and save the coin? Help..............

Don't worry about it.
A better "upgrade" would be another Outlaw for the center channel and/or removal of Monster cables where it counts most.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
"God grooves with tubes." -
Early B is right. Outlaw = 200 watts for center, to me is a must.

Thanks guys, I ordered the 3rd outlaw Monday. It is on the way as we speak and yes I have since then gotten rid of all my monster interconnects minus the DIY speaker wire and gone with signalcable. I upgraded the power cords with SignalCable on my AVR and CDp as well. I was just wondering if I would notice a huge difference in sound with the 5s.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
