Have you thought about bi-amping,Keeping the Marsh for the top end and finding some muscle for the bottom??

It's a good idea, but I don't have the space for another muscle amp. However, since I have a pro 2-channel amp with volume control powering my HT sub, I suppose I could experiment with it.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Hi Early, I run a Velodyne cht-10 sub with my Polk Monitor 10's.The 10's in their own right have good bass, but wanted to enhance the sound with an external sub. For HT you won't regret adding a powered sub.I crossover at about 60 Hz.That also takes some strain off the Monitors which,I hope, will help them to last longer. The CHT-10 was relatively inexpensive, about 350 dollars 6 years ago.It has enough deep bass to rattle the neighbors house, even at low volume.Being a 10 inch sub,it has good speed.Best of all its been dead on reliable and has auto on circuit.(hope I didnt jinkz myself about bragging about reliability)! Good luck,Brad:)
