Where? On Ebay I see one went for $668 used + shipping, a few new ones for $949 + shipping, and there are a bunch of used ones on Agon for ~$800. Did you get the Signature Series or the standard?

    Carl,

Thanks for the info, but I don't see the 7000 there. I see the AVS2000 for $600 + shipping (the link), and the 7000SS for $849+shipping, but no 7000.

As Darla pointed out the units seem to be all refurbished, and you don't get a full warranty, you get a "1 Year Accessories4less replacement Warranty" as they are not a monster authorized dealer.

Still thanks for the info, I knew the 7000s normally go for around $800 used or refurb but didn't realize the AVS2000 dipped so low.

Regardless I appreciate the info, it is good to know what others are going for.

And thanks for the kind words Carl.

With that said the price is now $450 shipped each piece. I am going to need the money soon so I can't let these sit around anymore. By the end of the week they will be up on Agon so hopefully a polkie can grab them first.

    Thanks.

I tried to sell them here, actually had them up here for 11 days at $450 shipped either unit before I sent them off to Agon.

I had a sale pending within 7 minutes of posting and had 5 offers to buy within 30 mins. Currently have 18 emails with offers to buy after a week, not sure why it was so hard to sell them here.

Actually funny enough the guy who said he would buy them first may be scamming me. He offered to buy them locally and said he lives in NJ even though audiogon says he lives in NY. He offered to buy then sold a couple of AVS 2000s similiar to my price, I think they were $500 each + shipping for standard units. Instead of marking them for sale he canceled the adds. We were supposed to meet this week and he keeps saying he will get back to me on the time and place...but stopped making contact Wednesday.

Sadly there are the other 17 offers off which 9 have more then 1 feedback, but if all 9 back out they are yours.

I'm too new on the board to even talk etiquette, but I have had trouble trying to read through a whole long line of posts and determine what is or is not still available and what the current offer is on several threads. It would seem that if people want to give the seller some insight about price, that should be a PM....even offers and inquiries can be. The fella who bought my speakers carried on a running dialogue with posts...I think pm's would have been better. And this is my very humble opinion, Jared, but I never opened this until today because I had no idea what this stuff even was...actully still don't. I'm thinking cables, power conditioners...etc.

    Neil,

Michael already covered it, I had the units here for a month then put them up on Agon and currently have a sale pending (took 7 minutes).

I should have marked these sale pending originally.

One unit is a voltage stabilizer the other is a power conditioner.

Thanks. My coments were directed generally to the FS board and not your stuff, except the "what is it" comment. Glad you got your sale. I have some stuff on Agon and it gets a huge number of looks but no offers. Oh well.

    XJRGUY,

The AVS 2000 was sold a few days ago on Agon and I have a sale pending on the HTPS. For whatever reason I have a lot of dead beat buyers who say they will take it, and then never respond again. I am going through the list of emails in order received on Agon, and if no one there wants it then JimBrick has first dibs. If he takes a pass then the option to buy the 7000 will go to you.

I will remember to keep this updated no matter what happens. Thanks for the interest.

OMFG both units finally sold. Five times I had people email me saying they want to buy, and then never got back to me. One guy setup a meeting time and place and when I emailed him to confirm he never responded. Meanwhile while I waited for all these sellers to respond to my numerous emails 2 AVS2000s and 3 HTPS7000 were sold for $100 or more above my asking price.

Sorry for the rant for anyone who reads this, just had a lot of problems with both buyers and sellers recently on Agon.

suprised those took so long to get sold your prices were awesome. I had a problem with getting my paypal shiat in order as well when I purchased from Andy early this month so I can see where paypaling can be an issue with payment. its a frustrating situation

Never had a issue with paypal, my big problem was people saying they would take it...and then never talking to me again. I think I got scammed by one seller, as he said he would take both and then sold the non signature versions of the same units for more money then I was asking. He later canceled the adds after marking them sold so they disappear from Agon faster.
