Is there any additional coax beyond the 3 lines (plus ground line) that are needed to go into the wall? Specifically, with the built-in multiplexer output, would it be any additional line that need to be fished out to the DVR/Receivers?, or is it as simple of swapping the old HD LNB with the new one?

TIA.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I think the only change you need to do is the dish/multiplexer. No need for additional lines unless you're upgrading the number of receivers or switching a regular receiver for one with Tivo.

Thanks, Bknauss? was it worthed for you? I've been told that DTV will roll-out the replacement program this year, but I hasn't really seen any solicitation to do so.

It was for local HD (less than a year ago) and overall HD channels "later" this year. Just TNT so far. I moved and got the new setup about 14 months ago. My Samsung will not pull in HD locals. You have to lease new equipment. Not a huge deal, but my Samsung kicks their receivers A$$.
