Strange Ground Loop Anomaly and Solution

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to let the forum know about a strange ground loop issue that I dealt with tonight. After rearraning my room and theater equipment, my system devloped a ground loop. I isolated the ground loop to to my buttkicker amp. The BK amp was causing my subwoofer to hum despite having a ground loop isloator attached to it, which cured the original ground loop in my previous configuration.
Ironically removing the ground loop isolator removed the hum. Now my system is silent and no ground loop is ncessary. Strange . . .

Not so strange really. Your grounding scheme has changed potential at each point and a new hierarchy has taken over. This is why identical systems in different surroundings experience different sets of problems.
