Went to Tweeter in Nashua, NH and purchased a pair of LSi15s a few hours ago. I'm "demoing" them and in all likelihood they'll be returned within 30 days. I'm going to try to get a pair of Dynaudio's from Goodwin's next weekend to take home for a night.

And there is always the difficulty of getting my ears on some Tylers. Gotta get some listen on before I make a firm commitment. As I had done before I listened to the Focals 826v at Tweeter. It struck me more this time than last that for different music I prefered it over the LSis. For example female vocals or some live music I had played there was more presence and a bit more "air".

On a couple of "Rock" tracks from studio albums I really preferred the LSis for that more laid back sound.

At the "new" price the wife isn't a fan though she did say, "This sounds really good" after just a few minutes of listening to some Eva Cassidy.

OK time to change discs! Too bad the kids are sleeping and I can;t crank it up. I've also got one of the Parasound p/hp850 on the way to try out instead of the passive! FUN!

Nice! I wish I had a car, since I would love to go out to Goodwin & listen to the Dynaudio's Audience 72's.

Let us know how they compare to the LSI's.

don't change out to many components when demoing speakers in your home.. if you do. you may not be able to know for sure if it's a new amp or the speakers that are making the difference. keep your componets the same as you have with whatever speakers you demo. then when you find a pair of speakers you like.. change out the amp or pre amp.
