2 DVC subs connected to 2-channel amp options

I have 2 polk db104DVC subs that I want to connect to a 2 channel 1000w Kenwood amp. It drives 175w RMS@4ohms or 250w RMS@2ohms. I was thinking of connecting both voice coils on each sub in parallel and connecting each to a channel. Will this give me each sub with 2ohm input into each channel?
