Here my LSI Setup

Nice, clean setup man! FWIW, in a room that big I'd go with just an inch of toe-in. VERY NICE.
You know, I was thinking the same about the 'toe in' effect. I'm however a bit confused as I once read in Stereophile magazine that when listening to stereo, the images dispersed from each speaker should merge/coincide in the middle, as if an imaginary floating sphere exists right in front of the listening position; I think the writer even said that you shouldn't even distinguish each speaker per se, the sound coming off each speaker should bond with the sound coming from the other. So if I don't toe them in, it seems to me like the images float by my ears and there's no middle concentric image. How do you guys have your LSI setup, toed in just a bit and slightly angled upwards?Analog:

Nice. Now you need two more LSi15s for the rear.
Try to angle the center speaker down so that it points directly towards the main audience seating, and see if that makes a differance.
I have a stand for the center speaker in front of the TV. If the movie is letter-boxed I adjust the speaker up so that the top of the speaker is at the bottom of the movie. If the movie is 16x9 then I lower the speaker so that the top is at the bottom of the screen. Along with 2 door stops under the speaker to angle it up, it really makes a differance in sound imaging.
I wish I had a room that big. With that nice wide wall, I would get rid of the ceiling fan and install a projector. If you had a projector and screen then you could use a LSi15 as the center behind the screen.
The nice thing about HT is that it is never quite right. There is always something to do and/or buy. -

It all depends on the speakers. Some speakers need more toe in than others to acheive the effect you are describing. If the speakers have very good horizontal dispersion, you may not need any toe in and will still have a good "floating" image. I usually start out with my speakers with no toe in at all and listen to them for several weeks that way with different recordings. Then I may toe them in very slightly and listen for a while with the new setup. Sometimes it takes a little patience to find that "majic" spot where they image best.Robert

Tn_Polk_Lover: I agree, it takes lots of patience, so what I'll do is bring them back so they're almost perpendicular to the listening position, take a listen for a few days and slowly toe them in till I find that 'floating' image.
How about tipping them back a little (ie. raise the front spikes a few inches) so they fire a little upwards towards the ceiling not parallel to the ground?Analog:

I've never experimented with tilting speakers up or down, so I don't really have an opinion on that.
