Looking for a Rotel RB971 in very good condition. Will pay $150 plus shipping for 9/10 with box and manual, will make offer on lesser items.

Bump, and also to add that I would like an RB1050 even more, enough to pay $230, same as above.

How about a Rotel rb980? $220 local pickup.

No, thanks. I think now I am holding out for a 1050. This amp is meant to drive tweeters only in an active crossover setup. The low end is a RB991, and the 1050 has the same exterior appearance, not to mention the critically important identical input sensitivity of 33 dB/ 1kohm.

That is a good price for that unit. Agon's bluebook is $290, with a LOT of data.

This was a quick buy after my NAD died. Got it from a Dallas audio shop's
used equipment inventory. They have had some real cherry trade ins
for both Rotel and Linn. Ended up going to a B&K for a warmer sound.
You going to the Lonestar audio meet?

See the forum for meetings and gatherings. Russman will be working the Polk booth there.
    Here's the shop.

Thanks. The RB971 must be new there. The 1050 was posted a couple days ago, and for $300, which is way too high. I've got one scoped in Austin on Fleabay that ends tomorrow afternoon. I aims to git it.

    Agreed. Bluebook prices show:
    RB971 - $140
    RB1050 - $250

Check out HTGuide Forum. They have a dedicated Rotel section and you may find one there.

    Good Luck.
