Shipping Question for Canadians

I purchased an amp from a guy in Ontario Canada last week. It was shipped last Tuesday (March 27th) via Canada Post Express and can be tracked to a sort facility at the Canadian border up until last Thursday (March 29th). I have no other way of tracking the package and I don't know what shipping company will be used once the item gets into America. I live in Georgia.

Two questions:

1. Does Canada Post Express typically hand off these packages to the US Postal Service (USPS)?

2. When can I expect delivery?

Thanks.

Yes, the post offices hand off to each other.
