Has anyone used a KEF sub, I would like to know if they are better then SVS or HSU subs. The three subs that I'm looking at are Kef sub PSW 3500, SVS sub PB-12NSD and the HSU VTF-3 MK2. I will be using the subs for mostly movies but do play some music

Just so you know, I think HSU has depleted their supply of the VTF-3 MKII, so you might have to cross that one off your list.

I wouldn't bother with Kef. You don't here them mentioned around here for a reason.

    Dont discount...

    AV123 and VMPS.

    VMPS is rock solid.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Yes, HSU has depleted their supply of the VTF3.2, however the VTF2.3 is nearly the same sub minus 100 watts and $200 or $60 if you count the closeout price price of the 3.2. They share the same driver and enclosure but sport different amps

Outlaw subs are design by Hsu. They're very similar. I have the Hsu 3.2 for a few years now. I am very happy with it. It' not good looking at all (appearance wise), but it's very good for both music and HT. I read on another forum (AVS) that the 2.3 amp is the same amp as the 3.2 (rated at 50 more watts), but Hsu down rated it to sell out the 2.3

We'll third that! We've got an SVS and wouldn't consider replacing it with anything other than SVS; we simply love our SVS!!
