Tips for mounting RT55s

Just bought a pair of RT55s to use a side surrounds in a 7.1 set up and would appriciate any advice on mounting them. I'm in the middle of remodling the room and moving to a 7.1 setup that will have RT55 fronts and sides, CS400 center, and RT7s as rear surrounds and front effects (ala Yamaha). I plan on mounting them according to the angles suggested on Dolby's site, which puts the 55s at a stright 90 degree angle, and currently have access to the walls to add studs or additional support. Has anyone found a good shelf that is unobtrusive but strong enough to mount a speaker that heavy? or am I going to have to fabricate something myself?
