Is this a good pre-amp?

Boulder L3AE with Phono pre-MC/MM selector switch?

I know a fellow who is selling one. He didn't have it connected so I didn't get a chance to hear it but it is in mint condition and the build quality is superb.

I dont personally know about this preamp but boulder is a respected name in audio. i think it was a $3500.00-$4000.00 preamp when new in 1991 I have no idea of current value. I read somewhere that the phono stage was pretty nice.
