Found the "MAGIC"...

I really think I have reached the point of evolving my system to where it just sounds "MAGICAL". With my latest additions (not all done at once) of the Van Alstine Ultra DAC, Virtual Dynamics David Series cables, Golden Sounds Acoustic Discs (room corner treatments) DH Cones & squares (isolation), GutWire NOTEPADS (absorb EMI/RFI, & damping) Mapleshade Mikro-smooth, OPTRIX, & IONOCLAST (CD treatments) DEOXIT & DEOXIT GOLD (cleaned all cables, posts, & connections) my listening pleasure just kept getting better & better. I was seriously thinking about replacing my beloved AAD 2001 monitors with there big brother, the AAD 2003 floorstanders. But let me tell you, that plan is now on the back burner. I am simply in awe of how good my system now sounds. I think each & every addition or tweak has a cumulative effect on the overall sound quality. So, for the time being I am going to give my credit cards a rest, kick up my feet & simply enjoy some marvelous music. Hopefully this feeling doesn't wear off too quickly!!!!:D

Congrats. I still have probably a year before I can say that. Nothing better than being content with what you have.

Nah....The thing about being content is it's boring.

    Hey Mike,

Nah, I never said that before. I always saw the light at the end of the tunnel but never got there. I'm pretty much there now unless it does get boring like your other reply says. For now, I'm just enjoying!!!:)
