audio asylum suddenly down and is up for sale.

I visted there a lot, reading about analog rigs and getting ideas for cartridges. I will miss it.

Hey maybe Matthew Polk would buy it and be the chief sponsor- and start making a new model sda with newest driver technology.

Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

    Why are they called inmates?

    it's an asylum.

I think Dave (Grumpy) at AudioKarma has made a hostile takeover bid for AA.

Asylums don't contain inmates, jails and prisons do. That's probably why it didn't make sense to me.

    Wrong! From the encarta dictionary:
    in·mate [ ín màyt ] (plural in·mates) noun

Definition: somebody in an institution: somebody who is confined to a prison or a psychiatric hospital (ie: asylum)
One of the more common phrases:

The inmates are running the asylum.

And yes...this is an April fool's joke.
