Rt 10 woofer

Anyone have a woofer for a RT 10. Mine fuzzes out every once in awhile and I assume that the voice coil is rubbing. I press in on the edges of the cone and it quits for awhile but then starts fuzzing again sooner or later.

Call customer service. They can send you a replacement. Polk has the best CS out there, and welcome to Club Polk. BTW mention that you are a Club Polk member to get a discount.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion Ben, but I called Polk customer service and was informed that the MW8002 woofer that was used in this speaker is no longer available. That woofer was also used in the RT 7. They also said that a woofer from a RT 20p or a RT 2000 would be a suitable replacement. Thanks again.:)

The rt 20p is a 8 inch driver. Will it securely fit the opening of the rt10 which is a 7.5 inch driver?

and the rt16 (2 per cab) as well. I have a pair of RT16s that were damaged in shipping (feet), and if I'm unable to repair or replace the feet to my satisfaction (and convince my better half that they are not THAT big) I may be solving everyone's problems here... I hope not, but who knows.

Thank all of you for your help. I ended up finding a seller on Ebay that had one only RT 7 that he was selling so I bought it and had him ship me just the drivers to save on shipping. The RT 7's have the exact same drivers as the RT 10's so it worked out great.
