Satellite speaker location regarding sub

The room I have my entertainment system in has me limited with regard to where I can place my 5 satellite speakers. This may sound strange but just humor me. :-) My question is, is is ok to place one of the satellite speakers on top of the subwoofer? Will this create any sound distortion or is it bad for the sub or the speaker, etc?

with shielded speakers you really should not have a "distortion issue".
However the sat speaker on top the SW might rattle and shake.
distortion aside placing a sat on the SW is not a good Idea.
