Window's Excel help

All you computer genius' out there... I click on my Excel today to pay some bills online, because it has my accounts and password information on it... and it is giving me some bug information... about failing to start in safemood and do I want to "Detect and repair?" i click yes, and it starts booting Microsoft Office XP software... then just freezes and tells me "Installer Terminated prematurely.."

Do i just need to reinstall Excel or what?!

Sounds like you have something corrupt, either in the registry or in one of the files. I'd uninstall the entire MS Office Suite and start fresh. There is a chance however that it will not let you un-install (if the installer program is failing). If that happens, you might need some serious help. Let us know.

Well Word still runs just fine... that's why I thought it might be specific to just Excel? I'll try uninstalling it now...
