Not sure if this is a new model, but it has called my attention. totally separate channels with individual power supply, DAC, output tubes, etc.

Shanling has built a name with the fancy "T" models, that are also good sounding players. Maybe this is a nice one.

Pacific Valve is in Wheaton IL if I remember correctly. Maybe we should invite them to bring some demonstration units to the IL Polkfest?

    Great idea!

It would be a shame to not ask.

Close enough for me Doug!;) If you find yourself in Geneva, Niche is a great Contemporary American restaurant to visit. It was started by many of the former 302 West folks. 302 West closed after the owner lost his battle with kidney cancer. Too bad they don't have the room at Niche for the baby grand that Patricia Barber would tickle the keys on occasionally at 302 West.

I've been to 302 West, but haven't tried Niche yet. Heard very good things.
