I use two chairs and place the VPI between them!!! That is what the VPI manual recommends LOL.

Thanks bud! Linn suggests the two chairs too. Just don't bump one out of the way! Ouch!

You got some photos of the NAIM gear? What's the condition of the amp? A shot of the rear ends on those two pieces would be great. I have a newer NAIM 112x pre-amp and its oustanding.

Doro- I haven't taken any pics but here is a Naim 110 amp and 32.5 preamp that recently sold on ebay. My amp is virtually identicle except mine is 45 wts/chnl and in equally excellent condition (as is the preamp). My preamp has only a single phono input and the face is a little less "busy" if you could even consider this busy. Kinda funky designs but a very sweet units.

That's old school NAIM and pretty cool. Enjoy, thanks for the links.

Even if you have the original manual, head on over to the Vinyl Engine Library and download the 1998 revision. It is 58 pages long versus 20 for the original and offers more detailed explanation for setup. If the springs on the dust cover hinges look like they are punching through the plastic, check out my LP 12 hinge repair thread here.

    Regards
