I'd like to establish values for a Toshiba Cinema Series TV ($1,400 new) and a RCA LaserDisc player ($350 new). Both work fine. They are 14 yrs old. Is there a formula to determine an approximate sell value?

I'm sure both have devalued substantially and would like to list at a fair market value locally. Your suggestions appreciated.

Model #s would surely help 'cause Cinema series came in a tons of different models. In any case, even if your Cinema is 50", being 14 years old it's probably not worth more than 150-200 dollars in excellent working condition... If it's a 14-yr-old CRT, then well... the price is lower! Don't know about LD player, sorry.

Don't know if this will help, but I bought JVC's top of the line 32" CRT in 1993 for $1650. I just sold it for $100, and I felt lucky to get that. It was in perfect condition, and the picture looked as good as the day I brought it home.
The problem with a set that old, is it could die any minute, so no one will be willing to give you much for it, considering a new 32" these days can be had for $500 or less.

You MIGHT get $20-40 for the LDP, from someone that's looking for one....that's the hard part. I've seen super nice LDP's, Pioneer Elite for example, go for pocket change.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
